The world soccer star Diego Armando Maradona died this Wednesday at the age of 60 at his home in Buenos Aires, Argentina, as confirmed by Noticias Telemundo.
The former player and coach suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest at his residence in Tigre, where he had settled after undergoing an intervention, announced the Argentine newspaper Clarín.
The Argentine idol, champion in the 1986 World Cup, had recently suffered a health problem and had undergone surgery on his head.
