The organization pointed out that the data related to the increase in the infection rate during the past week indicates an increase recorded by the Americans in both new cases and deaths during the past seven days and in Africa, where the number of infected people is relatively low in general. The total number of confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland now stands at 86,469, while the number of deaths remained at 4,634.
