Ben-Basa was a trainee in a pilot course, and enlisted only 3 months ago, after graduating from the third comprehensive school in Rishon Lezion.

He was 19 at the time of his death.

Lehi left his brother a pair of parents and a twin brother.

Shibulat Ben-Basa, Lehu's mother, paid tribute to him at noon: "My Lehu - an amazing child that you, so happily and hopefully went to service. I refrained from talking to you about my fears, I did not want to stop your momentum and commitment. God - why? Why? Why? You? I do not understand. A gentle, quiet child, but you have so much talent and wisdom in every field. In the last three years to take responsibility for yourself and us, with your father, with your twin brother and with me. You could always be trusted, leaned, talked ".

"In conversations on any subject you always knew how to arrange things correctly, I learned so much from you. Where did you get your knowledge and common sense from? Like a gift from heaven. You had special peace and inner confidence that I have no idea where you got it from. What would you do without me my sweet?"

Yesterday evening, his father, Shlomo, wrote a short post in which he announced the death of his son.

"My son Lihu Muhammad Nefshi was killed in a training accident in a pilot's course on a plane that crashed this morning in Rahat. My world was destroyed."

"It amazes us and it's clear to parents."

The family acquaintance added: "This is a modest child, loves people. Smart, loved by everyone, polite with exceptional physical fitness."
