US President Donald Trump tweeted on Wednesday that he granted "a total pardon" to former national security adviser Michael Flynn.
In his message, Trump congratulated Flynn and his family.
"I know you will have a fantastic Thanksgiving," he added.
It is my Great Honor to announce that General Michael T. Flynn has been granted to Full Pardon.
Congratulations to @GenFlynn and his wonderful family, I know you will now have a truly fantastic Thanksgiving!

Michael flynn
