Police yesterday (Wednesday) arrested a jailer and two inmates at Hadarim Prison on suspicion that this was a cake inside which a cannabis drug was hidden inside the prison.
According to the suspicion, a romantic relationship developed between the warden and one of the prisoners.
In an examination conducted for the warden, bullets of an unknown type were found and sent for examination.
The jailer will be brought to court today for a hearing to extend her detention, along with the two inmates, known as drug offenders, who were also arrested on suspicion of involvement in the case.
The arrest was made by the unit for the investigation of police officers and guards at Blade 433 following intelligence activities carried out at the prison.
In July, it was reported that another warden, who serves in the Zalmon prison, is suspected of entering a cell on the spot and having sex with two inmates. She was questioned under caution by the same unit that carried out the arrest of the prisoner suspected of drug smuggling, on suspicion of committing an offense of fraud and breach of trust. She denied the suspicions against her, claiming she was called to the cell and locked in it until a shirt was taken from him.
