In the coming year, the city will build a noise protection wall "An der Sonnleite".
This was decided by the Tölz building committee at its most recent meeting.
Bad Tölz - The project is interesting.
The noise protection in front of the busy bypass road should have been implemented a good 40 years ago.
For "incomprehensible reasons", the building authority writes in a template, the noise protection was never implemented.
Strangely enough, the item was initially listed in the non-public part of the agenda, but for some inexplicable reason it was suddenly discussed publicly.
When asked, town hall spokeswoman Birte Otterbach said that the item had been set incorrectly by mistake, which was corrected shortly before the meeting.

The situation: In 1981 the development plan for the area Pfarrer-Noderer-Weg and Sonnleitenstraße came into force, according to which the residents are to be shielded from traffic noise by a noise barrier along federal highway 472 and in the west by a protective wall.
The wall was built, but, according to building authority manager Christian Fürstberger, has sunk by over a meter over time.
The wall above the small strait to Karwendelstraße, however, was never built.
Therefore, according to Fürstberger in his lecture, the residents approached the city.
Traffic on the bypass has doubled since 1981
Fürstberger recommended that the city council not only increase the noise protection wall over a length of 50 meters, but also build the 45 to 50 meter long wall.
There is a legal right of the residents.
“If we don't do it, then the residents can try to enforce this in court.” In addition, traffic on the bypass has doubled since 1981.
25,000 to 30,000 vehicles a day led to considerable background noise.
Estimated cost: 120,000 euros
What will the construction project cost?
Fürstberger assumes a gross of 120,000 euros.
He recommended an aluminum construction with highly absorbent insulation "as the minimum solution".
You could also let that overgrown.
The funds are to be requested in the 2021 budget.
The building committee unanimously agreed without discussion.
