Former Prime Minister Ehud Barak said today (Thursday) that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is "following in the footsteps of the leaders of the fascist movements in recent generations," referring to Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini, rulers of Germany and Italy during World War II.

In an interview on Yinon Magal's program on 103FM, Barak was asked if he meant Hitler and Mussolini, and indeed confirmed his words: "All the leaders of the fascist movements. I say this because there is still value in the truth. "From the outside and traitors from within, this is the crushing of legal institutions and more. Netanyahu needs the Amalekites and the traitors from within, this has been the fascist formula all these years. He sows existential fears because he needs them to perpetuate his control."

The former prime minister's remarks follow the words of social activist Sadi Ben Sheetrit, who works for the Prime Minister's movement, which last week compared Netanyahu to Hitler.

In a video circulated on social media, Ben Sheetrit recorded a speech during a demonstration against the prime minister: "In the 1930s, there was an oppressor for Jews in Germany, and he behaved just like you, Shisa deviated and destroyed."

This is Sadi Ben Sheetrit, one

of the leaders of the Crimean Protest in Balfour.

Tonight he compares Prime Minister @netanyahu no less * than Hitler *!

I expect a sweeping apology from the left feeder, their widespread renunciation and the opening of tomorrow's news editions with an item on it.

It probably will not happen,

The Likud said: "Ehud Barak, one of the leaders of the 'black flags' who recently claimed to have sex with a young woman mediated by his convicted pedophile friend Jeffrey Epstein, today crossed all red lines by comparing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu - who was democratically elected to lead the Jewish state - to Nazi tyrant Adolf Hitler, who murdered six million Jews. Barak's outrageous remarks have no place in the discourse, and all public leaders must condemn them, led by opposition leader MK Yair Lapid, who along with Iranian social media activities fuels the 'black flags' demonstrations.
