Diego Armando Maradona was the subject and object of countless documentaries and films.

But to remember, there are fewer titles available on streaming platforms than might be supposed.

Here is a selection of five of them.

Maradona in Sinaloa (2019)

The docu-series has a linear structure, which begins with the presentation of Diego and all the madness that he generated in people.

And it reaches the team's comeback, which went from the bottom of the table to contest the final for promotion to First.

Almost tailored to the fanaticism of the Argentines,

Maradona is the protagonist by dint of football, magic and unique charisma

.

This film shows how in that World Cup he became the greatest player that this sport gave.

It is available in several sections on YouTube, and it continues to excite despite the low quality with which it can be seen on this platform.

Maradona Confidential (2018)

Available on YouTube

When the Balkan Emir Kusturica went behind the camera with Maradona, the expectations were much higher than the result of a film where the Serbian Fellini ends up entangled in an epic evocative of Diego de Fiorito, his playing career, the goals, the drugs, the innumerable television appearances, and his links with Fidel Castro, Evo Morales, Hugo Chávez.

Ten cities (Naples, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Belgrade, among others), three fundamental interviews with Diego and some unsuccessful acts (in Cuba, Fidel Castro did not respond to Kusturica's call to speak about Ten) were the setting and script that he outlined this journey through the tumultuous life of Maradona.

About 180 hours of filming and a huge editing job to select only 90 minutes played on screen.
