Levallois: a 68-year-old woman has 25,000 euros stolen from her bank

The victim was leaving a Crédit Lyonnais branch when she was attacked by two individuals on a motorcycle. She suffers from a double head trauma.


A 68-year-old woman was assaulted Wednesday, November 25 at the exit of a Credit Lyonnais agency in Levallois-Perret (Hauts-de-Seine), reports

Passed to the bank to recover money in anticipation of a trip to Dubai, the victim had just withdrawn the sum of 25,000 euros in cash, according to police sources cited by the daily.

But barely out of the agency, two men on motorcycles came up to her and tried to snatch from her hands the pocket in which she had stored the money.

As she struggled, the 60-year-old was punched in the face and fell to the ground.

On leaving, the motorcycle also rolled over on his legs.

Seriously injured in the head, the victim was transported to the Franco-British hospital in Levallois.

She suffers from a double head trauma.

An investigation was opened by the Levallois police station to find the perpetrators of this violent theft.
