Argentine soccer star Diego Armando Maradona was seen at multiple events alongside the late Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez, as well as his successor, the questioned President Nicolás Maduro.

But his friendship with leaders on the left went back to his youth when he met the late Cuban leader Fidel Castro, who got a tattoo on his leg.
