The death of Diego Maradona shocked the world and while thousands of people made pilgrimage to see him off at a massive wake at the Casa Rosada, the expressions of admiration were replicated in different parts of the planet.
From England it was the Argentine Leeds coach Marcelo Bielsa who defined him as "an idol" and spoke of the "weakness" that his death means.
"It was for us and it will continue to be an idol," said the Rosario coach.

He added: "The loss of an idol

Bielsa and Maradona, both former coaches of the national team, also have in common being adored by Newell's fans.
Bielsa is perhaps the greatest idol of that institution, which gave its name to the stadium, while one of the stands was named in homage to the star and this Thursday they painted a giant 10.
Maradona died this Wednesday at the age of 60 in the house where he was staying in Tigre.
