The criminal Nati Haddad, who was arrested in Thailand and is serving his sentence in Israel, is expected to be released today (Thursday) from Hermon Prison about six months before the scheduled date.

The release committee of the court administration convened this morning and in light of the prosecution's non-opposition and good behavior, it was decided to release him.

Haddad was convicted in Thailand of weapons possession, illegal possession of drugs, illegal operation of a clinic and other offenses.

Haddad, 36, suffered severe conditions in a Thai prison and tried to end his life.

He constantly denied the charges against him and claimed that a case was sewn for him to harm his business.

Last June, he was brought to Israel to continue serving his sentence under an extradition agreement. Israel began to intervene in light of its harsh conditions in the Thai prison and when its life was in real danger.
