There is currently no interim use in the Schambergerhaus.
The local council has rejected Christian Scheider's concept for a culture and art house.
Mammendorf
- The building has been empty since 2002 and has belonged to the community since 2010.
In a workshop on the future of the former department store in October 2019, many citizens wanted a variety of public and non-commercial uses.
From this, Scheider developed an interim use concept.
However, the local council saw several problems.
The fire protection is inadequate, there is also a lack of change of use and building application or building permit.
For the Greens, Verena Halbritter therefore applied for a feasibility study for interim and permanent use to be carried out.
She suggested the Hummel / Kraus office, which has been dealing with the Integrated Urban Development Concept (ISEK) Mammendorf for two years.
The office has already been incorporated, which saves time and money.
The application was rejected by the municipal council with 14: 1 votes.
Feasibility studies are not the hobbyhorse of this architecture office, said Mayor Josef Heckl (BGM).
In addition, three offers would have to be obtained in such cases.
Incidentally, the concept is not fully developed.
Heckl: “We would offend the citizens.
That would be counterproductive because we want to keep taking them with us. "
Finally, the municipal council commissioned the administration to obtain three offers from architectural offices to draw up a feasibility study for an interim and permanent use.
Then the matter is presented to the local council again.
The Munich planning office Hummel / Kraus is asked for advice on urban planning.
In addition, the administration was commissioned to submit a grant application within the framework of urban development funding.
