Presidential 2022: Fabien Roussel is preparing, but will make the activists vote

In the Communist ranks, some affirm: Fabien Roussel consults to constitute his campaign team for the presidential election.

Nothing very surprising since the current national secretary of the PCF was elected in November 2018 on a line of autonomy, after two campaigns behind Jean-Luc Mélenchon.

The last one ended badly, with very harsh words, even insults and, in the end, two separate parliamentary groups in the Assembly following a bad campaign in the legislative elections.

The idea would be not to start over.

Especially since several important party executives, mayors and parliamentarians, have already expressed a preference to side with the most influential single candidacy, in this case and at least for the moment, Jean-Luc Mélenchon.

Political stalemate

Fabien Roussel therefore, will consult his troops.

First the executives then the activists, via the representatives of the sections.

The presidential debate will be open in mid-December
