Bodo Ramelow: After insulting an AfD member of the state parliament, there is a risk of immunity being lifted
According to the Thuringian state parliament, the
application for
Ramelow's
immunity
waiver has already been received.
Ramelow enjoys immunity because he is also a member of parliament.
In Thuringia, the
judiciary committee has
to resolve the lifting of the immunity of a member of parliament.
The chairman of this committee is Möller himself.
Only when the committee has lifted Ramelow's immunity will the investigation begin.
According to the public prosecutor's office, the application was preceded by an
initial check as
to whether the allegations gave rise to an initial suspicion.
