Four people, including an influential Islamic State propagandist Rachid Kassim presumed dead in Iraq, are referred to the assize court specially composed for the assassination in July 2016 of Father Hamel in his church in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray , AFP learned from a close source on Friday, November 27.

According to the indictment order which AFP was able to read, the examining magistrates in charge of the case dismiss two of these people for
terrorist

complicity in murder
”, including Rachid Kassim. The two attackers, Adel Kermiche and Abdel Malik Petitjean, had been killed by the police on leaving the church.
