South Korea today recorded more than 500 new cases of Coronavirus for the second day in a row, a level not seen for nearly nine months, with a third wave of infections spreading across the country.
According to Reuters, South Korea recorded 569 injuries, a day after the numbers reached their highest level since the sixth of last March.
Prime Minister Chung Se Kyun warned that daily infections could reach a thousand and cause a bigger crisis, including the shortage of hospital beds, if social distancing measures and other restrictions are not able to stop the spread of infection.
Chung said at a meeting at Shogal Chung at a meeting on dealing with COVID-19, as all cities and regions, especially all of Seoul's 25 districts, reported new cases.
It is reported that the total number of cases in South Korea reached 32,887, while the number of deaths from the virus reached 516.
