The Joint Operations Command in Iraq confirmed today that the terrorist organization ISIS is in a phase of "great fracture" and at the same time warned against archive materials used by the aforementioned organization to delude Iraqis in carrying out terrorist attacks.
The Iraqi News Agency quoted Major General Tahsin al-Khafaji, a spokesman for the Operations Command, as saying: “The terrorist gangs of ISIS have been severely broken this year and the number of their terrorist attacks has decreased due to the operations carried out by the Iraqi forces, especially the intelligence efforts, and they are now in the phase of defeat.”
Al-Khafaji added: “The Iraqi citizen has become aware of what is being presented by those gangs that are trying to lie by relying on old archival materials with the aim of giving false morale to their terrorist elements, demoralized by the successive strikes they receive and the arrest of their terrorist operatives and leaders.”
