The new crown pneumonia epidemic in Hong Kong continues to spread. There were 92 new confirmed cases in Hong Kong today (27th), a record high since the fourth wave.

Zhang Zhujun, director of the Department of Infectious Diseases of the Center for Health Protection, said that of the 89 local cases, 58 patients belonged to the dancing group, and the source of infection for 17 patients was unknown.

The addresses of patients with unknown origin are located in various districts. One of them is a 14-year-old boy who is studying at Mong Kok Anglican All Saints Middle School. He felt unwell and sought medical treatment from the 24th. He returned to school yesterday (26th).

The school needs to suspend classes for 14 days, and students and staff are required to be tested.

Xu Huaying, the principal of All Saints Middle School, said that for the time being, only his elder brother and one classmate were listed as close contacts.

72 cases were related to earlier cases, of which 58 patients belonged to the dancing group, and a total of 367 patients in this group were diagnosed; the source of infection of the other 17 patients is unknown.

In terms of cases of unknown origin, the 17 patients included 11 men and 6 women, aged between 14 and 70. Most of them consulted private doctors, and 6 were diagnosed by community testing centers.

The patients involved retirees, housewives and working people, etc., with addresses in various districts.

One of them was a 14-year-old boy attending Mong Kok Anglican All Saints' Middle School. He felt unwell and sought medical advice on the 24th. He submitted sample bottles on the 25th and went to school last yesterday.

He went to a cram school in Cheung Sha Wan yesterday. The tutor and other students wore masks. No one was listed as a close contact.

All Saints Middle School needs to suspend classes for 14 days, and students and staff need to be tested.

The principal of the school, Xu Huaying, said that for the time being, only his elder brother from the same school and a classmate were listed as close contacts.
