The spokesman pointed out that five male patients who were admitted to the same medical condition as the patient were classified as close contacts and were required to undergo quarantine for 14 days. They have been tested and the results were all negative.

A spokesman for Tuen Mun Hospital said that the male patient had undergone surgery in October and needs regular follow-up consultations.
He left after a follow-up visit to the Orthopedics and Traumatology Specialist Clinic of Tuen Mun Hospital on Tuesday (24th).
And yesterday afternoon, he went to the Accident and Emergency Department of Tuen Mun Hospital for medical treatment because of bleeding from the wound.
After the initial examination, the doctor arranged for him to stay in the orthopedic and trauma ward.
The infection control team of the hospital started an investigation after learning of the test results of the male patient and traced the medical staff and patients who had been in contact with him. Five patients were admitted to the same medical condition as him and were classified as close contacts and needed to be accepted Isolation and quarantine on the 14th; they have been tested and the results are all negative.
Medical staff who have been in contact with the patient have appropriate personal protective equipment, so they do not need to undergo quarantine or medical surveillance.
