The remains of Diego Maradona arrived just after 7:00 p.m. at the

Jardin de Bella Vista Cemetery,

40 kilometers from the City of Buenos Aires, where he was buried with his parents.

The ceremony in the cemetery

was brief and intimate

: it was led by about 30 people, most of them relatives of the former soccer player.

Among them were his three daughters Dalma, Gianina and Jana;

his ex-wife, Claudia Villafañe, and his ex-partner Verónica Ojeda.

One of the most surprising presences was that of Guillermo Coppola, who was one of the people who loaded the drawer with the remains of the Ten.

It was also striking to see in such an intimate ceremony the Buenos Aires Minister of Security, Sergio Berni, who

shares friends with Ojeda.

In addition to Maradona's children and former partners, there were his brothers Raul "Lalo" and Rita "Kitty" Maradona;

and nephews Walter "El Chino" Machuca and Daniel López Maradona.
