The Government of Ayuso lifts mobility restrictions and the smallest capacity in 13 basic health areas and adds a new one in Móstoles as of November 30


The Madrid Ministry of Health will lift the restrictions in 13 basic health areas (ZBS) as of next Monday, November 30, having experienced decreases of over 50% in the number of infections and a sustained decrease in the trend of incidence of the virus.

However, a new basic zone will be added to the restricted zones that same day.

This is the area of ​​Barcelona, ​​in Móstoles, the only area in the entire region that exceeds the threshold to enact stricter measures, which is 400 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days.

The measure in the community as of this Thursday is 252 cases - the lowest in the country, whose measure is 325.

Thus, with 13 exits and one entry from Monday, there will be 18 closed areas, out of 30 on Friday.

Restrictions by basic health zones

New health zones that are closed:

only one, the Barcelona area in Móstoles, with a validity of 14 days: from 00:00 on Monday, November 30, to 00:00 on December 13.

The 13 areas in which there is no mobility limitation as of Monday:

in Madrid capital, Entrevías, Pozo del Tío Raimundo, Alcalá de Guadaíra and Numancia (Puente de Vallecas district), Pavones and Vandel (Moratalaz) and Infanta Mercedes ( Tetouan).

The measures remain in force for seven more days, until December 6, in the last six ZBS that were included last week.

In bars and restaurants it is 50% both inside and outside, consumption in the bar is not allowed and the hours are the same as in the rest of the region.

The capacity of the stores is reduced to 50%.

Attendance at places of worship cannot exceed one third of their capacity.

A maximum of 15 people are allowed to attend open-air wakes and 10 people in closed spaces. In academies and driving schools, the activity is limited to 50%.

The limit of six people is maintained for social gatherings, in public and private places during the day and at night, whether or not they are living together.

Mobility is prohibited except for a justified reason such as going to or returning from work from 00:00 to 6:00, the time slot in which the hotel business is closed.

The Health Minister reiterated this Friday that the community's plan is still in place, pending what is decided next week at the Interterritorial Health Council.

Madrid proposes to extend the meetings from six to ten people of up to three coexistence groups for December 24, 25 and 31 and January 1 and 6, as well as extending the curfew until 1.30 am on December 25 and January 1st.

Current limitations for commerce, hospitality, religious celebrations, and other events are expected to be maintained.
