The police are investigating the case and it is known that the minibus was driving towards Chuen Lung Street, Tsuen Wan.

When District Councillor Guo Furong said that the roads at the site are relatively narrow and the time for changing street lights needs to be improved, she believes that the Transport Department needs to face up to the pedestrians and drivers on the site, including extending the time of traffic lights.

She said frankly that the department had not responded positively and optimistically to the incident, and hoped that the authorities will discuss and face the incident as soon as possible.

The Transport Department announced at 3:24 pm that due to traffic accidents, part of the lanes of Wo Yi Hop Road (toward Shek Yam Estate) between Ta Chuen Ping Street and Castle Peak Road-Kwai Chung section was now due to traffic accidents Closed.

Motorists can only use the remaining down lanes.

Motorists on the Castle Peak Road-Kwai Chung section cannot turn left to Wo Yi Hop Road, as the traffic is heavy.
