The Palestinian Prisoners Affairs Authority has warned of the deterioration of the health status of Palestinian prisoners, especially those who are sick, in the Israeli occupation detention centers due to the deliberate medical negligence of their rights and failure to provide them with the necessary treatment.
The commission clarified in a statement carried by Wafa news agency that the prisoners in the occupation detention camps suffer harsh detention conditions, especially the sick prisoner Nidal Abu Aahour (45 years) from the city of Bethlehem who suffers from kidney failure for more than 10 years and from a cancerous tumor in the kidneys and breathing problems in addition to high He suffers from blood pressure and is subjected to willful medical neglect and his life is in real danger.
The commission indicated that there is a fear that the prisoner Abu Aahour will face a similar fate to the two martyr prisoners Kamal Abu Wa'er and Sami Abu Dayak and other prisoners who were martyred after the systematic medical murder against them was practiced against them.
About five thousand Palestinian prisoners inside the Israeli occupation prisons face harsh conditions of detention, as 1,800 prisoners suffer from multiple diseases due to the spread of epidemics and germs, and among them about 700 prisoners need urgent treatment, especially cases of cancer, kidney failure and paraplegia.
