Today, the Italian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 827 new deaths from the emerging coronavirus, and 28,352 infections during the past twenty-four hours.
"These numbers represent an increase in the daily death toll compared to yesterday's toll, where 822 deaths were recorded," the Italian news agency AKI quoted the ministry as saying.
The total deaths in Italy reached 53,677 cases, while the total number of injuries reached one million and 538217 injuries, which is the second highest toll in Europe after Britain.
Today, Turkey also recorded 177 deaths and 29,845 new cases of Coronavirus.
According to a new statistic of the Turkish Ministry of Health, the total number of injuries in the country has so far reached 511043, while the total number of deaths has reached 13,191 cases.
Turkey has been witnessing for weeks, significant increases in daily infections and deaths from the Coronavirus.
Turkish Health Minister Fakhruddin Kujah recently announced that his country is currently facing a second peak of the pandemic, amid severe criticism of the government because of its handling of the outbreak.
