Summary :
After 6 days of hearing, the Daval affair had its epilogue.
On November 21, Jonathann Daval was sentenced to 25 years imprisonment by the Assize Court of Haute-Saône, for the murder of his wife Alexia on the night of October 27, 2017.
A high-profile trial as were the stages of the investigation: the disappearance of the jogger, her charred body found in the woods, the confession of the grieving husband three months later, the revelations about the couple's private life, the accusations towards his in-laws.
The parents of the young woman hoped to obtain new confessions from their ex-son-in-law whom they loved like a son.
Why had he argued with her just before he strangled her?
The 36-year-old computer scientist maintains that he had just refused sex to Alexia who wanted a child.
