The technical workshops of the Public Corporation for Drinking Water in Tartous carried out maintenance and repair works, as well as the installation of submersibles in various regions of the governorate.
The Director of the Foundation, Engineer Nizar Jabour, told SANA's correspondent today that a submersible was installed in Khirbet al-Muizzah with a depth of 105 meters and an abundance of 60 cubic meters per hour, and a number of submersibles were raised and lowered for their maintenance, stressing that work is continuing to repair faults in a number of villages and regions such as Kafrfu, Anaza, Husayn al-Bahr, Dweir Sheikh Saad and Beit Alian and some lines inside the city neighborhoods.
Jabbour pointed out to the resumption of pumping from Jurat al-Hussan after repairing the malfunction in the main pumping line, repairing the horizontal pumping group operating on the axis of Kufra al-Gharbiyya in al-Baghala al-Awla, maintenance of the reserve pump at al-Osaybah pumping station, restarting the first egg pumping station in the axis of the mountain, and installing the reserve submersible at the first station of the Naamo al-Jard project. And repairing electrical faults in the network, replacing skirts and lines in different parts of the governorate.
