The concert came to announce the conclusion of the celebration of the Syrian Cultural Days in Homs and to reflect the extent to which the orchestra players were able to present and distribute pieces that differ in their identity and musical scales, starting from the lyrical epic “Carmina Purana” and Fortuna, through the music of Egyptian films and series such as “Uncle Ahmed’s Case” and “Money and Boys” and songs The Syrian heritage, with a new distribution ending with the patriotic songs “We reject we die” and “Shdidat Al-Camel” dedicated to the souls of the martyrs of Syria and the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army, interspersed with a solo play of the maestro on the Marinba instrument entitled “I and the Curmudgeon”

The leader of the orchestra and director of Homs culture, Hassan al-Labbad indicated in a statement to SANA that the concert program is varied, embodying the Syrian identity rooted in its diverse roots and its rich and constantly renewed presence in its presence, pointing out that the majority of the orchestra is young and adolescent, who advanced the first rows within the orchestra and the work was distributed among them In a way that differs from their usual method of playing music with one voice, pointing out that the traditional songs were presented at the ceremony with a new heritage vision by adding musical arches between each song.

The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Culture, Dr. Labana Mashouh, and a wide crowd of popular, religious and cultural activities in the governorate.

It is noteworthy that the Orchestra of the Culture Directorate includes 83 singers and musicians distributed among 40 singers and choir singers, and 43 male and female musicians.
