Yu Huiling also pointed out that because the sample at the testing center indicated that the patient had a low viral load, not every positive patient would be positive, and the hospital would test the results again.

The hospital later received a notification from the Department of Health that the patient finally tested positive at the testing center, and the virus CT value was greater than 30 (the larger the value, the lower the virus load). The patient was arranged to return to Tuen Mun Hospital this morning and undergo nasopharynx The swab test was negative.
The patient is currently hospitalized in an isolated ward of Tuen Mun Hospital. The hospital will observe the situation and re-test after 24 hours. Tuen Mun Hospital apologizes for the inconvenience caused.
Yu also said that the patient has no symptoms and the test is only for reporting, and there are no high-risk factors. The patient was discharged because the hospital test was negative, and his antibody test was also negative.
As for whether it will be a false positive, Yu said that some cases may not have a high virus load, and not every sample will be positive, and the hospital will test the results again.
