The epidemic rebounded rapidly. The government announced today (30th) that a number of epidemic prevention measures will be tightened. Civil servants have also implemented work-from-home arrangements. Except for emergency and necessary public services, government employees do not need to work in office buildings.

As for urgent services such as CSSA applications from the Social Welfare Department, we will try our best to maintain them.

The measures will be implemented this Wednesday (2nd) for a period of two weeks.

Many government departments have successively announced the content of service adjustments, and "Hong Kong 01" continues to update relevant details.

Starting tomorrow (December 1), the services and hours of all 18 elderly health centers will be gradually adjusted.

The elderly health centers provide services 3 days a week, and only provide members with scheduled medical services and seasonal influenza vaccination services. Among them, 15 elderly health centers still maintain seasonal influenza vaccination services for non-members.

For details, please refer to the following webpage: www.elderly.gov.hk/cindex.html.

The staff of the centre will contact the affected persons who have booked the service for further arrangements.

In addition, the sexually transmitted disease services of the Wan Chai Female Social Hygiene Clinic and Wan Chai Male Social Hygiene Clinic will be suspended from tomorrow.

If necessary, patients can go to other social hygiene clinics for medical treatment.

The department will also contact the affected persons who have booked the service for another arrangement.

Hongkong Post announced that starting from tomorrow (1st), all post offices will maintain their normal opening hours from Monday to Friday, but will close at 4 pm; Saturday business hours will continue as usual (General Post Office and Tsim Sha Tsui Post Office will close at 4 pm earlier ).

Mobile post office services are suspended.

Mailbox reception and mail delivery (including express delivery) will maintain normal services.

For buildings where there have been confirmed cases in the past 14 days, Hongkong Post will maintain the three-times lobby mailbox delivery service, but the door-to-door delivery will continue to be suspended until the building has been confirmed in the list of buildings in the past 14 days Remove.

Hongkong Post will continue to adopt various measures to reduce social contact and prevent infection at all post offices, and provide frontline staff with protective masks, eye masks, masks, alcohol disinfection tissues, alcohol handrubs, gloves and other protective equipment.

As the opening hours of post offices have been adjusted, citizens may have to wait longer if they need to go to post offices to use counter services.

During this period, there will be delays in local and inbound and outbound mail services, which will cause inconvenience. I hope the public forgive me.

Hongkong Post will continue to closely monitor the situation and the latest government announcements and make adjustments in due course.
