Vice Minister of Commerce Wang Bingnan pointed out at the "One Belt One Road" forum that he supports Hong Kong's participation in the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP), promotes Hong Kong to strengthen international and regional cooperation, and sign free trade with more "Belt and Road" countries Agreement to expand Hong Kong’s external partners.
In his video speech, Wang Bingnan pointed out that the Greater Bay Area will become an important development platform for Hong Kong to connect with the mainland market and the "Belt and Road". Also through the "Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement" (CEPA), promote the integration of economic and trade exchanges between the two places.
He also pointed out that Hong Kong has unique competitive advantages and can play an important role in the construction of the "Belt and Road". He actively supports Hong Kong in establishing the "Belt and Road" platform, integrating into the overall development of the country, and achieving better development of itself.
The Ministry of Commerce will continue to promote trilateral cooperation between the Mainland, Hong Kong and the "Belt and Road", and provide more policy recommendations and convenient measures.
