The cases leave you speechless and angry at the same time.

Several offenders are still awaiting trial or are still at large despite serious offenses.

We explain the current situation.

Munich - They are terrible acts - and the judiciary has not yet clarified them.

While relatives are waiting for a trial, investigations are taking place - or courts are looking for appointments.

We present five current cases.

Case 1: Fatal speeder accident in Laim

Victor B. (35) killed

a student on

Fürstenrieder Strasse

a year

ago - but he has

not even been brought to

justice.

“The

case was

only received by the court at the end of September.

The opening has not yet been decided, ”says Florian Gliwitzky, spokesman for the Higher Regional Court.

According to

tz

information, the process could start in early 2021.

Victor B. faces

life imprisonment

.

It is the first case in

Munich *

in which a speedster has

been charged with murder

.

Such a conviction had already

come

about in

Berlin

, where a perpetrator had knocked down a doctor in the city center at 160 km / h - it was the

dramatic end of an illegal car race

.

Victor B., on the other hand, fled

from the

Munich police

in a

drug frenzy

and drove into a group of young people on November 15, 2019.

At a speed of 120 he raced 14-year-old Max to his death.

Since then, B. has been in

custody

.

He is absolutely silent about the accident.

Case 2: The cycling drama in the Au

Was it a fatal attack?

Or an unfortunate death?

What happened on May 17th in

Hochstrasse

is still unclear.

One

thing

is certain: There was a

dispute

and a

bicycle accident

that 37-year-old

Fabio D.

did not survive.

The father-to-be died of a

ruptured spleen

.

Since the fateful Sunday in May, the police have been looking for the man with whom Fabio had a clash.

So far without success.

"The

possible perpetrator

is still unknown," explains Chief Public Prosecutor Anne Leiding.

A situation that was and is difficult to bear for Fabio's family.

In September, his wife Lidija gave

birth

to

twins

- ten weeks early.

But Milo and Nico are little fighters.

“They are both at home now,” says brother-in-law Ugur Cetinkaya.

Since Fabio's death he has been fighting to clear up

the death

.

Most recently with a public appeal to

Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann

to take up the case.

Cetinkaya's goal is for the

television program “Aktenzeichen XY” * to

report across Germany.

“So far I haven't heard anything,” he says, disappointed.

It is clear to the family that there was no accidental accident on May 17th, but an

attack on Fabio

.

Because of his death, the

capital department of the public prosecutor's office first

investigated.

“We primarily investigated because of the distance from the scene of the accident and other criminal offenses such as

bodily harm resulting in death,

” says Anne Leiding.

"In the meantime, the procedure has been handed over internally to the

traffic department

."

Case 3: Mysterious Porsche murder

A man is sitting in his

Porsche Panamera

covered in blood

: he was

downright executed

with a

shot in the head

.

A gruesome sight that was presented to a local resident in March.

The woman discovered the body at around 7:30 a.m.

on the Hart

.

Just a week later, the police were able to catch

Dominic S.'s (25) alleged murderer

.

Since then, the accused has been in custody, as Chief Public Prosecutor Anne Leiding explains: "We are striving to complete the preliminary investigation by the end of this year." The process: probably not until mid-2021.

The crime was believed to be

drug

dealing

.

The 23-year-old suspect, a

bartender

, is said to have owed several thousand euros to his victim.

His

fingerprints and DNA

were found in S.'s Porsche.

The resident noticed the luxury car because it was

parked

against the direction of travel on

Hugo-Wolf-Straße

.

The

police

also found

a small-caliber weapon cartridge

in the sports car

.

What exactly led to the bloody act: unclear.

Leiding: "The accused has not yet commented on the matter."

Case 4: Theft of millions at Commerzbank

The thieves were at

Commerzbank on Promenadeplatz

three times, and in the

end

at least 4.6 million euros

were missing

.

But to this day, the deeds from 2017 and 2018 have not yet been resolved.

"The money has not yet been found - and the exact amount has not yet been determined," says Senior Public Prosecutor Leiding.

The perpetrator is also questionable: first the

bank employee Silvia F. (59) was

accused, but then released from custody.

She and

six alleged accomplices

were charged, but the trial against

four alleged helpers

was discontinued.

A new criminal case was started against F., her son and an alleged accomplice,

but was suspended

due to

Corona

.

When it will continue: unclear.

Because: The most important witness (

Evelyna B.

, to whom the millions belong) did not come for questioning.

Leiding: “We cannot say when the process will continue.

Another appraisal from the regional court is pending. ”Curious: F. has been working in her old bank branch again since November 2nd - at the

crime scene

!

She had successfully sued

against her

dismissal

.

Case 5: The beast in the wolf mask

One of the most horrific crimes had occurred in

Obersendling

: at the end of June 2019, an

eleven-year-old girl was raped there

.

Perpetrator

Christoph K.

wore a

wolf mask

and had dragged the student into a bush near a housing estate.

There he tore the satchel from her back and threw the jacket over her face to assault the girl.

In broad daylight.

Even

experienced investigators

were stunned.

"I have not experienced anything like this in the last 16 years," said Ignaz Raab, head of the

police commission responsible for sexual offenses

.

But: K. has

not yet been brought to trial

either.

Judge Sigrun Broßardt (63) would actually have been responsible for it, but for her "the release

phase

in the

partial retirement

began on November 19,

" says court spokesman Florian Gliwitzky.

A successor in the 20th criminal division of the regional court has already been determined, he now has to find an appointment - the trial will probably not follow until spring 2021.

"The

judiciary is

playing on time," criticized defense attorney Adam Ahmed.

"The long process until the negotiation is started is

unacceptable in my view

with regard to the

need to accelerate

."

After all: Christoph K. had

confessed

to

the

act through his lawyer

, "in order

to spare

the girl at least an

intensive questioning

afterwards," says Ahmed.

K. had already been placed in a

psychiatric hospital

beforehand

and was in the last stage of relaxation before the act.

Now he's back in

psychiatry

, probably permanently after the trial.

His motive is still in the dark.
