In Passau, after the rise in the seven-day incidence value, over 500 more severe restrictions apply.
The mayor has set a limit that must be undercut.
After the Hildburghausen district, the city of Passau also has a seven-day incidence of more than 500.
Exit restrictions and further stricter corona rules now apply.
A big problem could be the proximity to Austria, where the value is even higher.
Munich -
Passau has been
shining
in pink
since Sunday
.
The
Robert Koch Institute (RKI) * is
only the second region in Germany to give
the city its signal color.
Pink is available from a
seven-day incidence
value
*
over 500. With 537.8, Passau is only exceeded by the Thuringian district of Hildburghausen (579.1).
Strict rules now apply.
An
exit
restriction has been in force
since Saturday
, people are only allowed to leave the apartment "for good reason".
Truly means:
shopping,
visits
to the doctor and relatives
are allowed.
Shopping for daily needs and for
Christmas
is just as possible as a visit to the
hairdresser
.
“What is now open stays open,” says Mayor Jürgen Dupper.
Passau is a Corona hotspot: a ban on alcohol and changing lessons prescribed
But there is a
ban on alcohol
in public places
, for schools the city has ordered
alternating lessons
for grades 7 to 11, with the exception of final grades.
Masks are compulsory
at meetings

Eating, drinking or smoking are taboo.
There is a limit of 60 minutes.
After the first impressions, the people of Passau stick to the
rules

The police did not have

because of violations
either on Saturday at shopping time or the following night

The pedestrian zone was not very busy in the morning.

Passau is a corona hotspot: FFP2 mask and quick test are mandatory for home visitors
Surprisingly, the
measures
no longer came.
The numbers have been rising steadily for days.
Infections among residents and caregivers have recently increased
in
senior citizens' and disabled facilities
in particular
.
The
visiting rules
have therefore been massively tightened: From this Monday, every visitor must
wear
an
FFP2 mask
and take a
quick test *
on site.
The region has been badly hit anyway.
The
districts of Passau, Freyung-Grafenau and Regen
have also seen massive increases in recent times.
The
proximity to Austria should also play
a role.
It's not far from Passau to the Rohrbach district, where the seven-day incidence had
risen to over 1,600
before
strict restrictions were imposed in
mid-November.
It is currently 654.3.
In Passau it is hoped that the
measures will have an effect by the end of the week
.
From a value of 300 you could loosen the shackles.
This mark, says Dupper, “is the least that should be undercut”.
