The Democratic Party’s Central Committee re-elected on Sunday (6th). The party’s youth department "Democratic Youth" completed its succession earlier. The Democratic Party Central Committee member Chen Baoming served as the chairman of the "Democratic Youth" and Li Yingyan served as the vice chairman. Several new generations District councillors were also elected to the Standing Committee, including Eastern District Councillor So Yat-hang, Sha Tin District Councillor Sin Zhuolan, Kwun Tong District Councillor Leung Yiting, etc.

Among them, Zhuolan Xian and Yiting Liang expressed their intention to run for the post of vice chairman of the Democratic Party. Lin Zhuoting also expressed his intention to run for the vice chairmanship. It is expected that at least three people will eventually run for the two vice chairmanships.

Liang Yiting said that competition is normal and that there will be progress if there is competition.

Chen Baoming said that in the future, the democratic youth hope to reform the internship program and hold policy debates in schools, so as to make community work youthful and localize youth work, and achieve the effect of gathering public opinion.

Chen Baoming also believes that for young people in Hong Kong, their "countryside" is Hong Kong. Seeing that many people choose to immigrate out of Hong Kong, the government also hopes to send young people to the Greater Bay Area for development. The road is to stick to Hong Kong, so he hopes to strengthen everyone's heart to stay in Hong Kong.
