The director of the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Anthony Pucci, said yesterday (Sunday) that the country may face a chain of outbreaks of the corona virus in the weeks after Thanksgiving.

Meanwhile, the United States has in the last day registered 138,096 new verified cases of corona infection.

824 people died from the virus and raised the number of plague victims to 273,077.

At the same time, New York Mayor Bill de Bellasio said he would open up the country's largest education system for personal learning and increase the number of days a week students attend classes.

The announcement came 11 days after the mayor said schools should be closed because of the rise in morbidity.

But now Lazio have stressed that they "feel safe to allow the schools to open".

Dr Anthony Pauchi, who serves on the White House mission to the Corona virus, told ABC that the level of morbidity in the United States would not change at once. "Obviously in the coming weeks, we are going to see more of the same.

And maybe in two or three weeks, we might see eruption after eruption, "he said.

Referring to the issue of schools, Pauchi said that the spread among children and children is not a significant thing at all as is commonly thought.

"So let's let the kids go back, but we'll try to moderate the things that are pushing the spread in the community that we are trying to avoid," the senior U.S. official added.

On NBC, Pauchi said it was not too late for people to return home after Thanksgiving and help ease the spread by wearing masks, keeping their distance and avoiding crowds.
