Two tragedies in an hour - two toddlers were run over to death
Disaster:
A serious accident occurred this evening (Monday) in the village of Ein Mahel near the city of Nazareth, when a two-and-a-half-year-old toddler was run over to death.
He was taken independently to the Italian hospital in Nazareth, where doctors were forced to determine his death.
Police investigators arrived at the scene and began investigating the circumstances of the incident and an initial investigation revealed that the driver was a relative of the baby who came to visit and hit him after not seeing him.
Meanwhile, Soroka Hospital determined the death of a one-year-old toddler after she was run over by her father in the yard of their home in Tarbin.
Rahat police investigators have begun investigating the incident and the circumstances continue to be investigated.
These incidents are not common and only a few months ago a similar incident occurred in Jerusalem, when a driver in his thirties hit with his vehicle a one-and-a-half-year-old baby reported to police that he apparently hit Buff after not noticing his presence.
After the injury, the baby was taken to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, in fair condition and suffering from crises.
The suspect was detained for questioning and his vehicle was seized to collect findings.
At the end of the investigation, the offending driver was released under house arrest.
