Even in the morning during rush hour, the
onset of winter
with snow and slush caused chaos on the streets.
According to the
police
, many drivers were not
prepared for snowfall
and still had summer tires on.
But trucks also had to struggle with slippery roads.
Several trucks got stuck
on the
B8 near Emskirchen
in Middle Franconia and blocked the road.
In the districts of
Altötting
and
Traunstein
there were fatal accidents the evening before.

Weather in Bavaria: Snowfall decreases in the evening - first snow in Munich
The first snow of winter fell on Tuesday in Munich.
