We are coming to the end of a cycle that began 40 years ago.
40 years during which France ceased to be governed, to be administered by a caste of technocrats who look at the country through binoculars and have never worked a single day of their life in a company.
A caste of arrogant technocrats who have appropriated the state apparatus, and have never ceased to make it more complex in order to establish their own power.

Perched in their ivory tower, light years away from the real soul of France, they sought to shape a country in their image.
They denigrated manual labor, undoubtedly too degrading in their eyes.
The success consisted in sending all the children to university or to a large school.
The consequences of this cult dedicated to the intellectual to the detriment of apprenticeship and manual trades have been formidable: young people who row to find a job, companies which struggle to recruit qualified profiles, artisanal know-how which is disappearing. ...
They have sacrificed our industry, which is probably too dirty and rustic for them, and have bet everything on services and tourism, even if it means transforming France into a giant amusement park for wealthy foreign tourists.
We are paying dearly for this French choice for the tertiary sector.
Deindustrialization has generated mass unemployment and a social divide between urban France and peri-urban France.
They sacrificed our armies, convinced that we definitely live in a world of peace and altruism.

It also results in an abysmal trade deficit (France imports more than it exports), and as a corollary, a loss of sovereignty (we are dependent on the rest of the world to supply us).
In a post-Covid era where tourism will be one of the last sectors to return to its pre-crisis level, France will suffer a double penalty: a major economic crisis, like all other countries, but a sluggish recovery at the cost of 'countless bankruptcies and hundreds of thousands of unemployed.
They have, for the same reasons, abandoned our agriculture.
A sector that is too laborious for them.
Once the breadbasket of Europe, France could soon import more agricultural commodities than it exports.
A slap.
They sacrificed our armies, convinced that we definitely live in a world of peace and altruism.
It was without taking into account that at the same time, the whole world was rearming.
Today, power states are asserting themselves, and global geopolitics is in turmoil.
This faulty naivety has weakened France.

The path I am suggesting to you here is difficult and demanding.
Its cardinal direction is freedom.
Its principle is responsibility.
It is based on love for France.
