The As-Suwayda Governorate, in cooperation with the Social Affairs and Labor Directorate and a number of NGOs, launched an awareness campaign to tackle the Coronavirus entitled “No Neglect and No Intimidation” that will last for 15 days and include the various regions of the governorate and include the distribution of masks and awareness brochures in various regions.

The campaign coordinator, a member of the Executive Office of the Governorate of As-Suwayda, Adnan Azzam, stated in a statement to SANA's correspondent that it aims to enhance awareness of the danger of the Corona pandemic and not be negligent in dealing with the health conditions in which we live, and to emphasize the precautionary measures that must be followed indicating that the campaign also carries a call for commitment to wearing masks, sterilization, spatial spacing and ventilation of places Work and housing.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Baraem Society for Child Care, Firas Zahreddin, indicated that the association’s participation in the campaign is a continuation of the initiatives it has started in this regard since the third month and comes within the framework of intensifying activities to combat the virus.

The director of the Salim Community Center, Sulaf Salim, pointed out the importance of joining forces between associations to confront the Coronavirus, indicating that the volunteer teams at the center are working according to their available capabilities and have developed a comprehensive awareness-raising plan for the coming period.

The coordinator of the Youth Center at the Family Planning Association, Hadeel Nasreddin, stated that young volunteers are present in the campaign, which confirms solidarity to achieve the common goal of awareness-raising to reduce the virus.
