The majority noted on Monday that article 24 of the comprehensive security law proposal causes a disturbance that should be removed.
Throughout the day, from the Elysee to the National Assembly, a solution - convoluted for the time being - was sketched out to get out of the quagmire in which the executive has found itself since it wanted to introduce a framing provision dissemination of images of law enforcement agencies.
"We are going to propose a complete new writing of article 24"
, announced at the end of the afternoon the president of the group La République en Marche to the Assembly, Christophe Castaner.
During this press conference organized off the cuff, he was surrounded by his counterparts from Modem, Patrick Mignola, and Agir ensemble, Olivier Becht.
The latter even going so far as to specify that
"de facto, the text as it has been drafted so far
