From day to day, Joe Biden may feel a little more like the election winner - given the development of the lawsuits against the result.
The future US president has now announced a historic decision.
Joe Biden wants to make his government communications team all women.
Among the chosen are some of the faces he knows well.
The nominations are a clear sign of greater diversity at the top of the state.
Washington DC / Munich -
He continues to wait in vain for
a congratulation from
Donald Trump
.
But while the still incumbent US president, despite various
defeats in court
and subsequent vote counts
,
rages unwaveringly
against the legality of the
election result of November 3,
Joe Biden
is preparing
for his entry into the White House.
The time has come on January 20th.
Then the 78-year-old Democrat is accompanied by numerous women to the powerhouse in the US capital.
From his wife Jill, of course.
And
Kamala Harris
, the first African American vice president of the nation, which has been independent since 1776.
Biden has already nominated
Janet Yellen
as Treasury Secretary
for his cabinet
.
Linda Thomas-Greenfield
is to become the United States' ambassador to the United States,
Avril Haines
director of the secret services.
Dana Remus
is scheduled as the White House legal advisor.

Biden's communications team: Psaki returns to the White House to become spokeswoman
In addition, there is an all-female
communications team
that the head of state elected by more than 80 million Americans will build on.
Biden's spokeswoman is said to be
Jen Psaki
.
The
CNN
journalist with Greek and Polish roots was already
communications director and spokeswoman for the State Department
during
Barack Obama's
tenure
.
In the aftermath of the election, she conducted several briefings with journalists for the future
US president
.
He emphasized: "Communicating directly and truthfully with the people in America is one of the
most important tasks of a president
." His predecessor should certainly feel addressed.
Besides Psaki there are five other women who will
lend their voice to
the
most powerful man of the most powerful woman in the world
.
Karine Jean-Pierre is
hired
as deputy
- she comes from Martinique and is the daughter of Haitian immigrants.
Most recently she was Harris' chief of staff.
Kate Bedingfield
is
slated
to become the White House communications director - she already held this role during Biden's vice presidency.
Most recently she was his deputy
campaign manager
.
Pili Tobar is
scheduled
as Bedingfield's deputy
.
She grew up in Guatemala and, like Jean-Pierre, could warm the hearts of migrants who suffered severely under Trump.

Biden's communications team: Harris confidante was involved in impeachment proceedings against Trump
The other two women report to Harris.
Symone Sanders
, who served as an advisor on Biden's campaign team, is
slated
to become the
vice president's
spokeswoman
.
In 2015, she was still the press spokesperson for presidential candidate and namesake
Bernie Sanders
, but left his staff before the 2016 election. Like Psaki, she already worked for
CNN
.
And then there is
Ashley Etienne
, who will act as Harris' communications director.
The native Texan was already a member of the campaign team and played
an important role in the
impeachment proceedings against Trump
as interim communications director for
Nancy Pelosi
, the spokeswoman for the
House
of
Representatives
.
Probably no coincidence: Sanders and Etienne, like Harris, are
African-American
.
Another sign of significantly
more diversity
at the head of the proud nation.
President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris today announced new members of the White House staff who will serve in senior communications roles.
For the first time in history, these communications roles will be filled entirely by women.https: //t.co/SjWAWJg941

Biden praised the members of his communications or
PR team
as "qualified and experienced", although many of them could even be his nieces in terms of age.
“I am proud to present the
first high-ranking communications team
in which
only women are represented
,” the former Vice President made it clear that the selection made should also be
linked to
a
message
.
The
Washington Post
also took up the apparently historical dimension of the personal
details
- this in turn brought
Kayleigh McEnany
to the scene.
Biden's communications team: Trump spokeswoman railed against Washington Post article
Trump's current press spokeswoman complained on
that the most important positions in the current communications team are all held by women.
This also applies to Vice President
Mike Pence
, First Lady
Melania Trump
and also the wife of the second man in the state, Karen Sue Batten.
She accused the newspaper of discrediting itself and spreading “fake news”.
The
Post,
in turn, picked up the
tweet
and listed
Judd Deere, Brian Morgenstern and Devin O'Malley
as well as male members of Trump's and Penny's PR team.
It is of course subjective which posts are considered to be high-ranking.
President @realDonaldTrump already has an ALL FEMALE Senior White House Press Team.
So does @VP ...
So does @FLOTUS ...
So does @SecondLady ...
The completely DISCREDITED @washingtonpost once again reveals their blinding propagandist Fake News proclivities ⬇️ pic.twitter.com/HpP0KL8kgD
- Kayleigh McEnany (@kayleighmcenany) November 30, 2020
McEnany had to put up with a little support and a lot of
ridicule
for her attack
.
One user posted an overview of the current
communications team
and asked: “Have you ever met your team?” Another wrote: “You don't have a press team, Kayleigh.
You have a
propaganda team
.
Big difference. ”So it all looks like a classic own goal for Trump.
Has McEnany regretted her admission?
