In Putzbrunn they calculated with significantly worse numbers.

Now the budget for 2021 seems to be better than expected.

There is a reason.

Putzbrunn

- In October, Mayor Edwin Klostermeier (SPD) had painted the budget figures for 2021 on the wall in the darkest colors, he expected a full minus and drastic savings.

Now the situation has changed completely: The trade tax will be better than expected, the district contribution to be paid will decrease.

“We'll probably come out with a positive zero,” said Klostermeier happily and explained: “We have a number of companies in Putzbrunn that are generating significantly growing sales in the Corona crisis.

In addition, some companies have converted their tax reduction requests into back payment notices.

So they pay as much as we originally calculated. "

The initially feared minus will therefore not occur, even if nothing is received from the large chunk of the federal and state governments that they have provided for the municipalities due to the unfortunate deadlines for Putzbrunn.

Since, according to chamberlain Karola Schulz, the district levy of currently 7.05 million euros will not increase, but will even decrease for 2021, she and the mayor expect a balanced budget in the coming year.

"But since we still have a long list of requests and requests, we have to delete a lot, because my goal is to adopt the budget for 2021 in the December meeting," said Klostermeier.

8,000 euros for two homepages?

"That seems extremely expensive to me"

This list includes, among other things, additional expenses for the Volkshochschule Südost in the amount of 20,000 euros, the boys' association expects a grant for the maypole hut and the erection of 5000 euros, the point of "public relations" within the community should increase significantly, for example 8,000 Euro planned for two new websites for two kindergartens, 5000 Euro for a new community homepage, 5000 Euro each for a new youth brochure and a new citizen information brochure.

The shooters expect a subsidy of 90,000 euros for a new shooting range, the tennis club 90,000 euros for a new surface on three courts and the Putzbrunner eV 90,000 euros for the renovation of the grass pitches.

"Nothing has been finally decided yet, everything has just been applied for and is still on the planning and checklist," emphasized Klostermeier.

Robert Böck (GPP) expressly welcomed this, "because two homepages for kindergartens for 8,000 euros, that seems extremely expensive to me".

Chamberlain Schulz added that by eliminating any celebrations this year as well as significantly reduced travel, tender and court costs, money was also saved.

“That we didn't have a Christmas party for our seniors or an excursion, that the very popular wedding reception and the Christmas market were canceled, I'm personally very sorry.

Because these are important celebrations and opportunities to meet in town, ”said Klostermeier.

In view of this, Martin Adler (FWG / FDP) suggested giving the employees a voucher for 50 or 100 euros as a thank you at the end of the year.

“We have already checked that, unfortunately it is not possible for reasons of collective bargaining law,” regretted Mayor Klostermeier.
