The defendant Luo Zhenjie (20 years old, student) was charged with assaulting Wing Leung, a senior superintendent district, at Exit C of Causeway Bay MTR Station.
According to the prosecution plan, Superintendent Yongliang set up a blockade on Percival Street that day, but a large number of demonstrators approached the blockade and shouted, so he took out pepper spray as a warning, but the defendant tried to snatch the pepper spray with both hands, causing both parties to stumble. Fell to the ground.
During the interrogation, the defense stated that after the defendant was pepper sprayed, he asked to wash his face but was ignored. The police even asked him to apologize.
