The activities of the second edition of the Maghout Cultural Theater Festival, which is being held by the Directorates of Theaters and Music in cooperation with the Hama Culture Directorate at Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts, kicked off this evening.
Hama Culture Director Sami Taha said in a statement to SANA's correspondent that the festival this year is attended by the teams of the Culture Directorate of Theater, Theatrical Lions, Professionals, Theater Voice and Tartous Nationals, indicating that all the plays are performed daily at 5 pm on the stage of the Dar al-Assad theater.
And Taha explained that the artistic and creative level of all the presented shows meets the passion of theater enthusiasts and those interested in the theatrical movement in the governorate.
The festival was inaugurated with the play “Awal and Money” presented by the Orchidia Dance Theater and the Hama Culture Directorate, which depicts the struggle of good and evil, soul and body within a dramatic formation that combines collective expressive dance and theatrical sketches.
