The product of the Said Hamza Forum for Fine Art in the exhibition "Sweida Culture"

Sixteen paintings that were the product of the Said Hamza II Forum for Plastic Art presented by 10 artists of different generations and schools, which were hosted by the Palace of Culture in the city of Sweida with an exhibition that opened today.

The paintings included themes inspired by the Syrian culture and identity, reflecting in part the Sweida environment, and the styles varied between realistic, abstract and expressive in olive colors.

The plastic artist participating in the forum, Hanan Abu Fakhr, explained to the SANA reporter that the artistic forums increase the artist's experience by learning about the experiences of others and enhancing the spirit of participation and teamwork.

In turn, the artist, Nahla Mawal, indicated that her participation in the forum was the first and represented an important experience that was benefited from, and during which she presented a painting that reflects the women's essences and feelings in an expressive style, while the plastic artist Nawfal Al-Andari indicated that the forum provided an opportunity to meet with fellow artists and learn about their multiple styles.

As for the artist Rasha Qotrib, who participated in a painting about grape harvesting from the realistic school, she expressed her happiness to participate because it is a new experience that gave her positive energy and got to know her colleagues and their different methods.

The head of the Plastic Arts Center at the Cultural Center and the supervisor of the forum, plastic artist Shadi Al-Aissami, explained that the forum, in its second session, is an important experience that includes a group of artists, during which they expressed their methods of different artistic ages, indicating that the distinguished this year was the participation of children with disabilities who drew and presented a beautiful work He added a human spirit to the exhibition.
