In a tweet published last Friday, Éric Naulleau, host of television shows with polemicist Eric Zemmour, rejected a call to demonstrate against the

government's “

comprehensive security

” bill

launched by the “

Truth for Adama

” committee, headed by his sister Assa Traoré.

"

I will respond to calls for demonstrations from #Assa Traoré when it comes, among other things, to express solidarity with the fellow detainee of Adama Traoré whom he has repeatedly raped under the threat of a fork

", a he wrote.

"

The statements of Mr. Naulleau against Adama Traoré constitute defamation

", writes the complaint with constitution of civil part lodged before the dean of the investigating judges of the judicial court of Paris, confirmed by the lawyer of the Traoré family, Me Yassine Bouzrou.

Adama Traoré died on July 19, 2016 after his arrest, after a chase with the gendarmes in Beaumont-sur-Oise (Val-d'Oise).

Relatives of the victim have been saying for four years that he was "

killed

" by the gendarmes.

But the investigation, still ongoing, has not established with certainty the causes of his death.

To the legal expertises clearing customs the gendarmes replied the medical reports requested by the family implicating them.

To date, the gendarmes have not been indicted.

In May 2016, a former fellow detainee also filed a complaint against Adama Traoré for sexual assault.

The investigation was closed after the death of the young man and therefore did not rule on these accusations.

But in March 2020, the Commission for Compensation for Victims of Offenses (CIVI) of Pontoise compensated the former fellow inmate for the damage suffered.

"

The materiality of the offenses of sexual assault denounced must be considered as established

", indicated the CIVI in its judgment.

However, its decision does not address the question of the author of the damage it is repairing.

His family has always denied the accusations against Adama Traoré during his detention and systematically filed a complaint against those, including Marine Le Pen, who relayed them publicly.

Yacouba Traoré, a brother of Adama, was sentenced in 2017 to 18 months in prison for having participated in a punitive expedition against the ex-prisoner.
