Scandal in the dormitory of the British royal family: An employee of the catering department at Buckingham Palace in the capital London admitted in court that he stole dozens of items from various rooms in the complex and sold some of them on the internet.

The worker, Adamo Kanto, originally a Yorkshire resident, hid the stolen items in his residence at the palace and a large portion of them were discovered in a scan conducted by the palace guard at the site.

Among the things Canto stole were two photo albums from US President Donald Trump's visit to the palace, a medal awarded to a senior military officer and a medal awarded by the Queen to a palace worker, which Canto admitted to selling for £ 350.

Among his belongings were 77 items from the souvenir shop in the palace.

The British Broadcasting Corporation, BBC, reported that since the outbreak of the corona plague, Kanto has been employed mainly in cleaning various parts of the palace, a role that has given him access to the royal chambers' private rooms and warehouses where valuables are kept.

Genber reportedly teased items from the queen's and her husband's rooms.

The plaintiff in Kanto's lawsuit claimed that some of the items stolen by the employee were put up for sale on the ebay shopping site at prices that do not reflect their true value.

According to a palace spokesman, some of the stolen items are worth huge sums of money ranging from £ 10,000 to £ 100,000 per item.

Kanto has pleaded guilty to all the offenses attributed to him and could face a lengthy prison sentence.

The employee's sentence will be handed down in the coming weeks.
