Dion Creek, an Australian who fished for crayfish in the state of Queensland, came face to face with a hammerhead shark on November 26.
“
I was about to adjust my camera when I saw the shark appear out of the corner of my eye,
” the diver told Australian news outlet 9News.

To get rid of the animal, the man used ... the pole of his GoPro camera.
“
I pushed him the first time, but he came back on me.
I hit him a second time and pushed him a third time, just to get away from it,
”he explained.
He thus immortalized the scene, relayed by the Australian media.
In his misfortune, Dion Creek was fortunate enough to stumble upon a shark only two meters tall, while the larger ones can measure up to six meters.

I don't want to be a statistic so next time I will have to be more careful and take more safety precautions and have another diver with me
