been in

since November 2,
due to rising corona numbers

Corona in Bavaria: rules for Christmas known - Söder does not rule out tightening for New Year's Eve
Contact restrictions:
The same rule applies to private contacts as in the
federal-state agreement
on Wednesday: "Private gatherings" are limited to your own household and to one other household, but in any case to a maximum of five people, excluding children up to 14 years.
So far, Bavaria has been restricted to two households with a maximum of ten people, but including children.
Christmas and New Year's Eve:
Families and close friends should be able to

did not rule out that stricter regulations could apply again on New Year's Eve.
"There will be an update in mid-December," he announced.
"We will then see if everything stays that way - according to the current status, I would say: Yes." This corresponds more to the "reality of life" on New Year's Eve itself.
New Year's Eve fireworks are to be avoided, and “the use of pyrotechnics is prohibited in busy squares and streets”.
Corona lockdown extended: These rules apply to gastronomy and culture in Bavaria
Gastronomy and culture:
Leisure and cultural facilities of all kinds as well as gastronomy must initially remain closed until at least December 20, whereby an

over the turn of the year is highly likely, but cannot yet be legally implemented.
"The state government assumes that, due to the high level of infection, extensive restrictions will be necessary by the beginning of January (especially in the catering and hotels sector)," the cabinet decision said on Thursday.
Events
are therefore prohibited, and tourist
accommodation is
prohibited.
