In spite of the collapse in business tax, the Herrsching community has a solid budget, says Treasurer Miryam Goodwin.
In the local council meeting on Monday, she referred to the good financial cushion that the community has saved - after all, six million euros.
The level of debt in the Ammerseegemeinde next year is also impressive, as it will drop below one million euros.
This frees up capacities that were put on hold at the string concert in May.

For example for the children's home on Fendlbach, the community center in Widdersberg and the homeless shelter.
Despite the high district levy of 8.8 million euros, high investments are possible, even if the chamberlain remains cautious: "The budget is tightly knitted."
After the Herrsching municipal council had already dealt extensively with the budget and the legal basis in a nine-hour closed meeting, it was not surprising that the draft for the coming year could be explained and approved at a gallop on Monday.
The budget volume, which is measured in terms of expenditure in double housekeeping, is around 30 million euros for the fourth largest municipality in the district, which is scratching the 11,000-inhabitant mark.

She was pleased that the subsidies for the clubs could be retained.

The plans in financial planning for the coming years are also bold.
The most ambitious project there in 2022 is the creation of affordable housing.
For this and for the construction of the children's home on Fendlbach, a loan of more than 4 million euros will be necessary in 2022.
Most of the expenses in the coming year will continue to be absorbed by the Christian Morgenstern elementary school.
Once again, 638,000 euros are due mainly for the renovation of the old building.
The cost sharing for the Herrsching grammar school is comparatively low at 300,000 euros annually, at least in 2021.
However, grants are still pending for the renovation of the elementary school.
According to the treasurer's estimate, trade tax revenues will rise marginally over the level of this year to 7.2 million euros.
In the corona year, this source of income fell from 9.3 million to 6 million.
Of course, Miryam Goodwin has also applied for compensation payments for Herrsching from the federal government.
She is hoping for an injection of around one million euros.
Income tax participation remained stable compared to 8 million euros this year.
For 2021 the chamberlain hopes for 8.5 million euros.
As deputy chairwoman of the adult education center in Herrsching, Anke Rasmussen (Greens) warned at the end of the budget decision that the adult education center would need support next year after all classroom courses had to be canceled again.
Mayor Christian Schiller as chairman even said that the support was still possible this year, but he did not give details yet.
The 2021 budget was passed against the votes of Alexander Keim and Johannes Puntsch (both FDP).
They did not agree because the plans for the Widdersberg community center and the homeless shelter were too far removed from the original idea and the affordable living space to be built next to the Nikolauskirche seemed disproportionate for the expensive reason.
